Isaac BODENHEIMER and Caroline (Carrie) STRAUS were married in 1873.² Caroline (Carrie) STRAUS^2,8,9 (daughter of Abraham STRAUS and Sophia (wife of Abraham Straus)) was born in Nov 1851 in Germany.² She immigrated in 1870.² She died on 1 Mar 1932 in Bexar County, Texas.¹⁰ She lived with her daughter and son-in-law in San Antonio Texas 1920 to 1930.^8,11 The proof that Caroline (wife of Isaac Bodenheimer) is a daughter of Abraham and Sophia Straus is indirect. On her death certificate, her maiden name is listed as STRAUS. Isaac BODENHEIMER and Caroline (Carrie) STRAUS had the following children:

17	iv.	Laslie BODENHEIMER2 was born in Dec 1888 in Missouri. There is a Leopold Bodenheimer who died in Texas March 2, 1931, but there is no proof of relationship.
