8. Loeb Kahnmann¹ was born on June 14, 1814. He died of cholera in 1849.¹ According to Werner Cahnman, Loeb (Leo) ran the first horse drawn busses in St. Louis.

Loeb Kahnmann and Mariah Wakefield were married on November 16, 1838 in St. Clair County, Illinois.⁹ Mariah Wakefield^10,11,12 (daughter of Father Wakefield and Mahalay ?) was born about 1821 in Illinois.¹¹ per Werner Cahnman, Leo's wife was the sister of Jacob's wife.
