9. Baruch KAHNMANN^1,27,28 was born on 20 September 1816.¹ He appeared in the census in 1850.⁷ Berruch Canmann is listed in Warren County, #065, 99th District. From the Belleville, Illinois public library card index to microfilmed newspapers (searched about 1974):
B. Canmann was elected to alderman of the 2nd ward (April 24, 1857)
Member of City Council arrested for violating ordinance forbidding parades on the Sabbath (January 22, 1858)
