11. Flora Stern^11,18,26 was born in 1895 in Missouri.²⁷ Abe Garland, in a telephone conversation, remembered that Flora Stern married a Heller in a double wedding with Dave Garland and Edna Specter. He believes that it happened about 1909.

Flora Stern and Israel Myer Heller were married.^18,26 Israel Myer Heller¹¹ was born in 1885 in Lithuania.^11,27 He immigrated in 1892.²⁴ He was naturalized in 1899.²⁴ According to his grandson, Jack Heller, Israel came to Peoria, Illinois from Lithuania. His name was Friedman in Lithuania, but he changed it to Heller. Flora Stern and Israel Myer Heller had the following children:
