Bessie (Rocha Brayna) IMBINDER3,23,24,28,31, daughter of Itze-Gersh AINBINDER and Hoda GLAZER, was born on 15 March 1884 in Ponidel, Lithuania.23,26,28,31 Joseph Freedman's naturalization says that her year of birth was 1884, as does her own naturalization. She immigrated on 27 November 1909 to New York City, New York, USA.31 Rochel Braine Jatowicz and her son, Faiwel Ruwen (age 2 years) arrived on the SS Lusitania sailing from Liverpool. She is described as a 23 year old housewife who had been staying with her father, Itze Ainbinder in Ponedel, Russia. Her final destination is New Haven, Connecticut where she was going to meet her husband, Jossel Jatowicz. His address was 74 Temple Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Rochel Braine was 5'3 1/2" tall, dark complected with black hair and brown eyes. She was born in Ponedel. She was naturalized on 15 December 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.28 Bessie Freedman is described as 5' 1" weighing 136 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She left Europe from Liverpool, England, and her last residence was in Panadel, Russia. She has lived in Massachusetts since June 1910 and in the US since December 3, 1909. She entered the US under the name Rochel Braine Jatowicz. Bessie signed a will in 1949 in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
